Does anyone know why a confidence interval can be asymmetric..
Added 2021-01-13 00:31:52 +0000 UTCDoes anyone know why a confidence interval can be asymmetric when using the bootstrap method? Is it because of the way the CI is calculated? More specifically the quantiles used? It's not ±, but .025 for lower and .975 for upper instead of ±.95?
