Added 2021-01-17 17:08:10 +0000 UTCLast night, I ended up watching the movie A Nice Girl Like You (it's on Netflix). I had watched the trailer a few days ago after seeing it trend on my Twitter. It wasn't trending for the right reasons (critics aren't that good), BUT it had Lucy Hale in it, and it involved sex, so it intrigued me. I've always been a fan of Lucy Hale since her days in Pretty Little Liars. I know, most of you, if not all of you, haven't watched that TV show, lol, but still, I think she's cute as fuck, funny and I love her awkward facial expressions. I needed something light that didn't require a lot of thinking after a long day of work and a crazy start of 2021. It was just what the doctor ordered :) Nothing too dramatic, just a simple comedy with a few good laughs. Don't we have enough drama on the news and all the social media lately? Fuck politics and covid. Can I enjoy entertainment without having to think about our world going to shit? Heck, you can't watch a basketball game anymore without being free of either political or covid talk. Even Grey's Anatomy focuses on Covid this season. Anyhow, I loved the film, and while it won't win any Oscars, I recommend it! If you ever want to see how lips react to erection creams... LOL! This is the movie for you! Strippers, sex shop, dildos, and brothels in the same film, what can go wrong, right? ;)
