Good morning lovelies! We start the day with a story about Lake Louise. I am posting a few pictures, but there will be much more as this place takes your breath away. Get ready for the perfect winter scenery! Lake Louise is pretty famous for its turquoise, glacier-fed lake ringed by high peaks and overlooked by a luxurious chateau. It's about an hour past Banff (the post I made two days ago! You can go back and see that badass burger I had). The drive is easy unless you are hit with the Mother's Nature version of a bukakake: crazy winds, snow, and some wet ice. Luckily, the drive was smooth and easy. Oh, except the rock I received, and that cracked my windshield. It was a rented car, and one month earlier, my own windshield got broken by a rock too! 2019 was a bad year for windshields. Oh god, I remember these times when a cracked windshield was ruining my day. Heck, in 2020, a cracked windshield would have been a walk in the park compared to everything else, LOL Let's focus back on Lake Louise. On that trip, I was staying three nights at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. These pictures are actually from when I got there on the first day. As you can see with the mountains in the background, it's lovely. The Chateau isn't as great as it sounds. It looks freaking fantastic from the outside, but when you get inside, things weren't as fabulous. It was comparable to a guy showing off his six pack but being a complete moron. But I will be reviewing the Chateau in another post. I went snowshoeing and hiked at iced falls. Stay tuned. I will share every single detail in the upcoming days.
