Photos from Endless Night, a vampire ball held in New Orleans a few years back. Me & my friend we’re hired to gogo dance for the ball. We ended up only dancing for about 30-40 minutes & then we partied for the rest of the night. It was wild how INTO IT the other attendees were! I mean they’re really about that 90’s vampire aesthetic in the most extreme way. I actually wanted to keep dancing longer but I couldn’t find my partner/friend throughout most of the night. I was low key pissed. But I should have just sucked it up & went & danced by myself. But I’m always so in my head about things... 😕 I probably don’t seem like it to all of you loyal & amazing friends, but I’m actually weird, shy & insanely unsure of myself. I. HATE. IT. I’m constantly working on it though. To make matters weirder, even though the event promoter that originally hired me to gogo was PISSED, HE HIRED US AGAIN! 😂 To gogo at the next Endless Night in Los Angelos. But he hired my friend to “host”. Basically all them meant was get in free, dress up super hot & talk to other event goers. Instead we totally didn’t do shit again. 😆 She & I just hung out with our buds in the group we went with. I actually TRIED to dance & kept asking event coordinators when a& where I should dance but they kept saying later... later. By the time I saw other dancers on stage dancing I didn’t go up to dance with them. I was embarrassed that I dressed in all red. The main promoter insisted that my friend & I dress in all red with romantic vibes. Kinda like he made us all dress in white for the ‘Nola party. The other dancers were in HUGE platform boots & all this industrial/cyber goth stuff. I looked like an all red bride of Dracula. I actually ended up wearing that dress for a scene in C@nnibal Hookers!!! Anyway, I was embarrassed & felt self conscious for being in red ballet shoes & a red flowy (but super sexy & sheer) dress while they were in metallic silver bikinis & huge Frankenstein boots. 🤣🤣🤣 I should have said fuck it & danced. Dancing is literally the one thing that makes me feel the MOST alive. I will always regret not dancing that night. But hey, at least I got into a several hundred dollar party for free, right?
