T’was the night before Christmas, and I couldn’t sleep,
Not because of the stockings or presents to keep.
Thoughts of you danced like sugarplums in my head,
As I waited impatiently alone in my bed.
The lights on the tree cast a soft, sultry glow,
While outside, the world was covered in snow.
The real magic tonight isn’t under the pine.
It’s the thought of you here, and knowing you’re mine.
